Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With your generous donation, my students will have the opportunity to use flexible seating. We have a small classroom with a lot of bodies.

Our current seating arrangement is not ideal for students due to the lack of space.

Large round tables will allow students to be able to easily maneuver around the room without disturbing anyone. Students will also enjoy working in groups and be able to build relationships with one another.

Our school has been emphasizing social-emotional learning; this seating arrangement will promote teamwork and building relationships among students. I believe that students can learn from each other through collaboration. I strive to develop academic communication and social interaction skills in my students as they are critical to the real world.
