My Project

No matter what day or time you visit my classroom you will not be able to miss the relaxing vibe in the air. Whether they are working alone, with a partner, or with the class as a whole they are talking, thinking and engaged in learning!

The questions and connections they come up with and the confidence they grow from learning with their peers is really something special!

My third graders love choosing books from our large classroom library, building and creating during indoor recess, and being read to. Most days we can be found all over the floor in small and large groups. We will be getting laminate flooring this summer so we will be losing that sense of comfort from the carpet. A clean, colorful large classroom rug for each and every student to fit on comfortably would be fabulous. Offering this to my class would allow them all to feel like a wanted and important part of our community.

Our classroom is also in need of a new Chromebook cart. Our room is rather small so we would greatly benefit from a smaller table top cart to leave more room for flexible seating.
