This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Flexible seating is crucial in upper elementary classrooms. Students may have a hard time sitting still in their seats which may cause them to be distracted. If students can choose a flex seating to their liking, they will be more engaged and focused.

This project aims to give my students autonomy over their seating arrangements.

When given a chance, my students have proven to make wise decisions when selecting things they like. This leads to a more engaging small group, making our time together beneficial in the long run, which is what each teacher aims for day in and day out.
