My Project

I am blessed and honored to teach middle school ELA. My students are lively, engaged in learning and finding themselves. Middle school is scary and is a pivotal time in young adulthood. I’ve found that my students thrive when they are not seated for an entire class period. They engage with hands on “fluid movement” learning best. I have incorporated some areas of flexible seating in my classroom by using old chairs from my home but they are bulky and aren’t in the best condition. These new wobble stools are more compact and would not only help solve the flex seating issue but they would double as seating for students who suffer from ADHD/ADD etc. when they need a break from the traditional desk/chair setting.
