My Students

My co-teacher and I are lucky to teach 100 wonderful students. What makes our job challenging is that each of these students learns differently, behaves differently, has a different level of comfort in class, and has different challenges and goals. Many of our students are challenged by disabilities like speech impairments, learning disabilities, physical impairments, and ADHD. They have different interests and are engaged in different things.

Our students represent a multitude of different learning styles, learning abilities, and engagement level levels which we are very dedicated to accommodating.

My Project

Many times the small things that help a classroom run are overlooked - pencils, pens, etc.

Flex seating and classroom basics go a long way to ensure that a classroom is comfortable and functional for students.

These are all items that are necessary for students to learn and can add up to a big expense.

We have found that flex seating in our classroom makes our classroom enjoyable to be in, comfortable to learn in, and conducive to the best work of our students. The basics we are requesting in this project will allow our students to work without having to worry about providing pens, pencils, ink for themselves.
