Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I teach 9 Autistic Support Students from grades 9-12 in an inner-city school. My students stay with me for all four years so we get to use and reuse the materials every year. They love to learn, but need more hands-on learning materials to help them.

My students love learning with flashcards!

We are in need of more flashcards for learning because my students love hands-on activities. These flashcards will help us with all of our learning needs to finish off the school year strong and be able to begin the next school year with them. We will use them to learn more about black history, math skills, reading skills, social-emotional learning skills, and life skills.
