My students need jerseys for their first every flag football season. Since they are Trillium's first ever team, I want to order t-shirts and get them personalized with their names and numbers on the back!

My Students

TA has around 700 students from Kindergarten through the 12th grade and has been serving Taylor and surrounding cities since 2002.

We offer athletic sports teams to our 6th-12th graders and currently have roughly 150 student-athletes.

While we encourage a winning attitude, my ultimate goal as a new Athletic Director is to develop bright, responsible citizens that are committed to academic excellence and embrace the true meaning of sportsmanship.

Since we are such a small school, we’ve always depended on our parents to fund all athletic programs that their children are involved in. Because of this, the funds left over after paying our coaches and officials - there are little to no funds left over to improve our facility.

As a whole, TA is confident that participation in our sports makes a positive difference in our student’s lives, as hard work, self-discipline; team effort and commitment are all character traits and values stressed through our sports programs, I would love to get them updated equipment to improve our gymnasium so that their athletic experience at TA is the best it can be! They deserve it!

My Project

Being part of Trillium's first ever flag football team is very exciting for our student-athletes. Since the United League charges for entry and officials, the pay to participate fees of my students will go towards coaching pay, league entry, and officials. Since we have never been able to offer this sport before - there are no jerseys. Since these boys are becoming members of something unprecedented, I want to be able to gift them t-shirts with their names and numbers on the back as their jerseys (but also to keep). This will be very special to them, as many come from low-income homes, and rarely have the funds to buy Trillium apparel besides their uniform polo top. This is something I am very passionate and excited about and I hope we can make it happen!
