My Students

I absolutely love my group of first grade students. First grade is a huge transition year from kindergarten. My students are being challenged to take more responsibility for their learning and themselves throughout a given day.

My group of students are fun, engaged in their learning, and a very high-achieving group of first graders.

This group of students love working together and finding ways to engage in 21st century learning. On the daily, my students are focused on collaboration and communication. This is done through their table groups, STEAM teams, and class rotations.

By supporting this request my students will have more time to learn to work together and also have a more organized space :).

My Project

Let's be honest first grade is a monumental year! First graders are expected to make a smooth transition into an all-day, everyday classroom setting.

I want my first graders to learn how to operate in collaborative communities through their table groups.

In order, for this to happen my first graders need some help getting organized!

I am seeking out donors that would like to support first graders get organized. I am wanting chair pockets for my students to put their folders, writing journals, and library books in. This will allow more space for my students to work together on projects and have discussions.
