Help me give my students a fresh start to the new school year this coming August. This will be my first year as a teacher, help me set them up for success!
First thank you for taking the time to read this and look at the items I need for my classroom.
I am a first year teacher in a 6th grade classroom this coming fall and need things like markers, pencils, and other basic supplies to get started.
The hope is that the items on my list will help me get my class started on the right foot.
I truly believe in organization, the carts will help me stay organized which will in turn help my students. In addition to this you may see I have some craft items, I will be creating a “craft corner” in my classroom that students can use during their free time. I also added light covers, the lights in my classroom are rather harsh. I believe these can help students to focus and hopefully keep them and myself from getting fluorescent induced headaches.
You may also note there are some personal hygiene items, I am going to have a “care closet” that students are free to access if they need it.
Overall the items that I have added are necessary to getting a good start to the school year for myself and my students.
