My Project

This is my first year teaching in my own classroom. I was a special ed paraprofessional for 3 years and a long term sub for 2 years. This is my first having my own classroom. I am very thankful for my school, but like most first year teachers, my classroom is extremely bare.

The supplies listed are both items for my students and decorations for the class.

The items requested are mainly day to day items: Counting cubes, pencils, pens, notebooks, colored pencils, and markers. I have also included treasure box items such as pop its and squishy mochis. These will provide incentives for students to follow directions in class. I included items like a rug, pillows, and twinkle lights to create a comfortable reading corner for students. The inviting reading corner will inspire students to be great readers! I also requested bulletin board decorations, so I can create a bulletin board that inspires my students to do their best every day!

I want to create a welcoming class for my students, which is in a Title I school. Please help me reach my goal!
