My students are experiencing their first year in school ever! They come to school every day ready to learn. They are eager to soak in new ideas and concepts daily. I am extremely lucky to have such creative and hard working students in my classroom this year! Since the beginning of school, my students have shown how much they enjoy learning and how eager they are to prove to everyone how ready they are for kindergarten! We need your help providing our classroom with basic resources we need and use daily.
Every day we begin our class with a morning message. The chart stand will help provide our classroom with a mobile teaching and learning station that houses a write and wipe board. This will enable us to use chart tablets, as well as other items for more interactive learning, writing and sharing.
To help build their reading skills to become great readers, I want to add the Snap & Build Sight Word Set to our literacy center by providing them with hands-on experience as they spell and learn sight words.
I can just imagine how engaged my students will be as they build and create sight words to enhance fluency and help promote literacy in young learners!
Science is one our favorite subjects in my classroom! At the science center, I would like my students to extend knowledge as scientist as they explore various aspects of science such as earth science, life science and physical science through the folder game activities. The use of the science folder activities will help them classify object based on their characteristics, label the different parts of a plant and so much more! I see many future Scientists in my classroom!
