My class includes at-risk learners, ESL students, and students with special needs. Over half come from low-income families, and after Hurricane Harvey, many of my students have very limited access to extra supplies at home—yet they continue to work hard every day at school.\r\n\r\nThis project will provide my PreK students with meaningful art materials that support creativity, communication, and confidence. More than half of my students are nonverbal and have limited ways to express themselves, but art gives them a voice through color, texture, and hands-on creation. Because no artwork is ever \"wrong,\" students can create without fear and build self-esteem.\r\n\r\nThe paper and supplies will be used for art stations, and the small containers will help organize materials so students can independently choose what they need.
