My students need basic resources such as white boards, a variety of crayons/markers selection, book bins, and flexible seating to ensure that they are in an organized environment conducive to their diverse learning styles and abilities.
As I joyfully await the beginning of my first year of teaching, I think fondly of the 20 young mathematicians; scientists; authors; illustrators; problem-solvers; and readers who are in my care to nurture, encourage, and inspire. In the weeks leading up to our first day of school, I am working diligently to prepare my classroom in a way that cultivates learning; collaboration; creativity; and respect.
Full of potential, my students deserve to enter a classroom family that will provide them the opportunities and resources to grow as individuals and members of a collective group.
Together we will put our best efforts forth in order to reach our learning goals pertaining, not only to academics, but also to our role as kind citizens who seek to serve our school community and city.
My Project
My students deserve an organized classroom environment that will set them up for success.
No matter ability level, rate of progress, or past educational experiences, these students deserve resources that ease the transition into learning; promote strengthened focus; and enhance opportunities for them to use their imaginations.
The book bins will allow for a cohesive classroom library that is filled with an array of literature for students to explore. Clipboards, whiteboards, and flexible seating options will ensure that students are able to learn at any designated area. The art supplies will support student creativity- so important in the early years!
