My students need an iPad and iPod to help them with financial literacy.

My Students

Money is a challenging concept for young children. My first graders need to learn how to identify money, count money, and make change.

My children are an enthusiastic group of first graders that love to learn.

They attend a Title I public school that has over 80% of its students receiving free lunch. Most come from single parent homes that do not have the resources to buy computers for home. The only technology they are exposed to is at school. Technology is the future for students.

My Project

Young students need to learn about finances to help them in the future. The iPad and iPod will open up doors to fun, interactive websites and applications that will help them with financial literacy. My students are struggling with money and financial concepts. The technology will make learning more captivating for them.

My students will benefit with financial literacy by having the technology in the classroom.

They will be prepared in their future with the economic knowledge that they will get with the use of the iPad and iPod. The funding of this project will make a huge difference in my children's lives.
