My past students were eager and energetic first graders. I anticipate my new class of first graders will be just as enthusiastic with the new start of a school year. We pride ourselves in showing great character in and out of our classroom. We are Jr. Panthers! Our 'Just Be Jersey' theme is seen in our district and within the community loud and proud! We have students from smaller outlying towns that come to our building for Pre-K through 1st grade. My first graders will have multiple opportunities to collaborate with each other and other first grade rooms in our buIlding.
My Project
Our first grade class is ready to dive into new science and geography adventures in our learning. These new interactive and hands-on tools will bring learning to life in our classroom. The materials we are requesting are student friendly and can be shared in individual, small group and whole group instruction. My students love to become the experts in the classroom everyday. The interactive globes, magnetic models and STEM inspired items will help them to be the experts in the classroom this year and for years to come. Thank you for helping to create excitement and love of learning with our Earth!
