Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We love our students and devote our time to create fun and engaging lessons. Sometimes, these lessons include the use of technology. Our students are fortunate enough to have their own Chromebook assigned to them from our district. Unfortunately, they are in need of headphones. The headphones provide students with high quality sound for better engagement and comprehension of audio books, educational videos, and games.
My goal is to gain enough headphones for all 72 first graders at my school.
I want to make sure that every student has equitable materials to support high quality education. Technology offers students access to more information amongst a variety of platforms. Headphones will enhance this experience for all students.
My students come from a low income neighborhood and have limited access to great opportunities like this one. My students are hard working, humble and full of gratitude. I know they will enjoy the headphones entirely.
