Like many students across the country, my students are learning from home. Unfortunately, my students live in one of the nations most dangerous cities with 36% of the population in poverty. With that said, books and learning materials are often forgotten and considered inessential. I want to provide each student with at least three books so that they could continue to foster their love for reading and learning. The books will be used for reading logs, reading reports, as well as fun reading material to read with families. I plan on recording each student read a book so that I could post it onto our virtual classroom. This way, all of my students have an opportunity to read along with their friends. My hope is to provide students with a fun learning experience through literature.
