My Project

My students are hard workers who have enthusiasm for learning. This coming year, I hope to improve our math scores and find more ways to build a love of math. First grade is an essential year to learn to count to 120, having a 100s chart will allow us to practice daily. Another goal based on Utah standards is to be able to do fact families and use 10 frames. Both of those materials will allow students to practice these skills. Having the storage available so students can easily grab materials will benefit their needs and wants to be independent when it comes to getting materials they wish to use.
