Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am the school nurse for about six hundred students in an urban school that is in a Title I district. Our students are full of life and compassion at an elementary school.

Our campus services classes for students from Pre-K to fifth-grade level.

In our diverse student body, I see on average 45 to 50 children a day for various reasons in the clinic.

My Project

This project will help keep my elementary school clinic stocked with snack items and waters. It will also provide the clinic with items for administering first aid to my students.

A student who is healthy is one that learns the best in the classroom!

I have added waters in two different sizes to keep in the clinic. The popcorn, crackers and snack mix box will allow me to give items to diabetic students or those who might just need a snack to make it through the school day.

you can never have enough bandaids, tweezers and splinter removers in an elementary school nurse's office. For this reason, I have added those to this project!
