My Project

My scholars attend a Title I charter school with too few classrooms, no windows, and no gym for PE. Teachers do our best to create the most welcoming environment by decorating our halls, bulletin boards, and classrooms. We prioritize student representation and authentic student work.

My goal is to ensure we have the class materials we need to finish the school year strong.

We have run out of binders, pencils, markers, paper, and incentives more than a few times this school year. This grant is to ensure there is minimal need for out-of-pocket expenses for the remainder of the year.
