Help me give my students sensory tools to navigate learning in the classroom.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Ree's classroom raised $169

My Students
My students are returning to the classroom following months of remote learning (as are children all over the world). The time without face-to-face learning has been extremely difficult for them and the word "difficult" doesn't fully encompass what is felt by each of them. I teach bright, inquisitive students, ages 6-7, that have been diagnosed with autism. They are social and aware of what goes on around them, but they still need structure and boundaries to help them maneuver and succeed. They are amazing.
My Project
My students are amazing children with autism. They are bright and inquisitive. They have so much potential! Some of my students have weak pencil grips. This is a result of weak finger muscles. In order to build up the muscles, pencil grips and tools to strengthen are needed. I am posting this project to get the necessary tools to improve my students' overall handwriting. Writing is a vital part of everyday learning. Therefore, these fine motor tools are necessary. I hope to use these tools in all academic areas, even in play!
