As mentioned above, my students are amazing children with autism. They are smart kind, and inquisitive. Many of the hardships they face stem from difficulties processing everyday sensory information. My goal is to use these sensory tools to help them navigate learning in the classroom. Each child learns differently and their sensory needs vary. My goal and hope for this class is to find toys and tools to help with sensory integration. Whether it be in textures, sounds, or movement, I hope to find the right items for my students.
