My Students

Hello!

Every week I have the pleasure of working with some awesome students in a rural community.

The school consists of approximately 100 students total and I am lucky enough to get to work with a select group. My students all have difficulty with fine motor control which makes handwriting difficult for them. Good fine motor skills are essential for their success. Each one of my students put in the necessary work daily to improve their skills that are needed to be successful and independent.

My Project

By using these materials, my students will be gaining fine motor dexterity and strength which is vital for their success in the school environment and at home. They will be improving their fine motor skills all while engaging in fun and exciting games and activities. Along with improving their fine motor skills, my students will be working on social skills such as turn taking and problem solving. They will be learning how to interact with their peers and forging new friendships. When my students are learning from home, these activities will be a welcome distraction
