My Students

My students join me for one-on-one and small group special instruction where they receive personalized treatment and accommodations to allow for optimal engagement in the classroom environment. My students are a diverse population of three to five year old children with a variety of intellectual, physical, and sensory challenges to overcome.

My students are full of curiosity and are very excited to explore new opportunities to learn and develop their skills.

They are so proud and confident when they master a new skill!

My Project

This project is dedicated to the toys that I've found to be so motivating and rewarding for kids ages three to five. Items included in this list will really enhance their learning experiences and help them better participate in their therapy sessions. Scissor tongs, Woodpecker Fine Motor game, and squeeze paints really help the students with fine motor and coordination goals. Additionally, the lights, sensory chews, and glow stress balls will be an excellent addition to our calm-down corner for those kiddos that get overstimulated or need a space to reset.

Making learning fun and interactive will always be the best way to reach my students; to give them a passion for learning, to build up their confidence, and to help them to explore their potential as new learners.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
