This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In Preschool, we do a lot of playing that is actually learning and developing skills that we will use everyday. Different toys and activities help develop different skills. Developing our fine motor skills is so important our development. With these materials we will not only be playing but we will be learning while having fun! These materials will be used during our center/free time in the classroom.

Fine motor skills are developed by twisting, pinching, lacing, screwing, and linking small items.

These skills are so helpful and needed for pre-writing and writing skills.

These fun, engaging, hands on activities not only build fine motor skills but they also provide a literacy component at the same time!
