Each year we have the privilege of welcoming a new class of eager and bright students to fill our classrooms with different personalities, insights, and so much more. We work hard to ensure we provide amazing learning opportunities and engaging events to expand our scholar’s knowledge and promote a sense of collaboration among the school’s community. If you choose to contribute to our school, you will be giving more than an monetary donation.
You will be a hero to the students who will be able to experience science in a whole new realm and possibly become an innovator for their generation.
This year, I am planning a field trip for 60 students to visit the Museum of Discovery in Little Rock, Arkansas. I would also like for the students to be able to enjoy a scenic lunch and great panoramic views in the River Market district. Many of my students have never been to Little Rock and I wish to grant them an opportunity to experience the best the city has to offer. More than 90% of the students are apart of low-income families, with many being raised by adults who are not their biological parent(s) or extended family with financial hardships. This unfortunate circumstance makes a field trip not feasible. This trip will allow the students to experience science in a fun, engaging, and educational environment. The field trip is scheduled for March 11, 2020. However, due to our school’s budgetary constraints, many of our extracurricular activities have been limited or excised. While we strive to offer our students the best education possible, we need the resources to be able to afford some of the events.
We would like to ask that you help us continue to provide a positive experience by donating.
The cost for each student is $10 to enter the Museum of Discovery and we are needing $10 per child for lunch.
