My Project
I am passionate about helping my students see the that math is all around us, is for everyone, and can be fun! A robust and culturally relevant math library is an essential piece of what my math classroom needs to accomplish my goals.
Math-inspired literature will give my students common experiences and real-world jumping off points for mathematical discussions and problem-solving. A diverse selection of books will ignite their imaginations and make them feel seen and honored.
These books will open the doors to a wide variety of mathematical thinking and engaging activities.
