My Students

I am a third year teacher at a school located at the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon in Utah. I am privileged to be the teacher of a class full of eager and energetic third graders who are ready to soak up whatever information is put in front of them.

They are ready for whatever adventures will come and have learned that they can overcome hard things with a positive attitude.

These students love anything hands-on and are actively engaged in their learning. They are excited and ready to learn when they come to class. They are looking to be challenged, and step up to the occasion when the time arises.

There are so many different personalities that contribute to the make up of our class, but they all have one thing in common: a desire to work hard and learn as much as they can. They have become good friends with one another and are quick to help other students when needed. The care and compassion they show each other is truly heartwarming.

My Project

These resources will help students get lost in the world of make believe, history, science, and reality when given the opportunity to read. I hope that a variety of books in the classroom will help them develop a love for reading. Also, I hope exposure my students to a variety of books so that they will begin excel in reading and improve their ability to understand the world they live in. By reading, they will also be able to have the ability escape from the stresses of COVID and the worries around them.
