Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Second, third, and fourth graders love the early chapter books I keep in easy-to-browse colorful bins. These books have plenty of illustrations but give students the feeling of accomplishment that comes from reading a chapter book.
So it was devastating to lose this entire collection when a pipe burst one icy New England weekend.
My principal and I are committed to rebuilding a new and better library, but in the meantime, there is a critical shortage of some of our most popular books. I'm trying to keep the library up and running and getting some of these titles would be a huge help.
