"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much," is a quote by Helen Keller. My preschool students are amazing, energetic, fun and lovely children who have the drive to learn. They are like sponges absorbing all the information they can receive from me or anyone who presents to them.
Most of my children are Spanish speaking with English as a second language and many of the parents are only Spanish speaking.
Upon returning to school, the students will be ready to learn with their friends. They are excited to be surrounded in a safe, healthy, comfortable and educational learning environment. I see them engage in our distance learning classroom full of life, ready to learn and excited for what is in store for them that day. I feel honored to have the responsibility to teach these amazing preschoolers and hope to enrich their financial literacy experiences.
The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will help me to provide students with amazing math lessons that were created by teachers for teachers. I spend a lot of my free time creating and finding resources that will improve my teaching and help students learn. Many of them are already created on Teachers Pay Teachers, therefore it would be very helpful to use something that is already out there then to recreate it.
Preschool students need to develop an awareness of numbers and math in order to improve their financial literacy skills.
I would use the gift cards to purchase lessons, assessments, and activities that I could use in my classroom.
