Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my students are diverse and inquisitive learners who are genuinely excited about learning. They come from different backgrounds and bring unique perspectives to our classroom, yet they all share a curiosity about how the world works. I especially love that they enjoy coming to school—even on Saturdays—because they value learning and being part of our school community.

The financial literacy games and books in this project will help my students turn that curiosity into real-world skills.

The games will allow students to actively practice budgeting, saving, spending, and decision-making in a fun, low-risk environment where mistakes become learning opportunities. The books will support these lessons by introducing financial concepts through relatable stories and clear examples, helping students connect money management to their own lives. Together, these resources will engage students of all learning styles and empower them with practical skills they can use now and in the future.
