This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Over 90% of the students at my school receive free or reduced-price lunch, and we are considered a Title I school. Students don't always have access to resources that would extend their learning. I want to do all I can to help my students achieve their highest potential. My students are truly amazing, and they love to learn. They are excited about school and their contagious enthusiasm for learning drives me to do more!

My Project
I would like to give my students an opportunity to design, create, and sell products that will expand their learning in financial literacy! Students will create original designs using the Cricut Easypress and heat transfer vinyl. We will donate our profits to an organization in need. This will be an insanely fun project but will also teach a multitude of skills that will help students develop financial literacy!
Students will learn about all aspects of financial literacy and develop skills that will help them be successful in the future.
They will learn to create a budget and manage money. Students will understand all costs associated with creating a product and selling a product at a fair price that is competitive but profitable! Students will become knowledgeable and expand their financial literacy skills!
