My Students

Do you remember what it is like learning about Financial Literacy in Mathematics? Learning about Financial Literacy is very important and can often be a hard concept for many students to learn.

My students are wonderful, smart, kind, and outgoing K-6th graders, who learn at a title one school located in North Carolina.

My students are in Special Education pull out or inclusion classes, but learn in a General Education setting. Many of my students struggle with all areas of learning.

My Project

The iPad will be used to help my students in their mathematics classroom. The iPad will help them learn all about Financial Literacy by providing them with various tools to keep them active and engaged in learning this concept. They will be able to read books and play games to practice financial literacy skills.

Many of my students struggle with grasping important concepts.

By helping to fund this project you will be helping to provide my Special Education students with the tools they need in order to stay active and engaged while learning all about Financial Literacy.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
