My Students

I am currently the general education teacher in a first grade classroom. My classroom is comprised of students with a variety of capabilities from diverse family backgrounds.

They thrive on learning, building and creating.

Since my students are so eager to learn, I love to bring in varied and new experiences that they might not be able to get at home. They are wonderful boys and girls, who deserve all the interesting and hands-on materials they need to succeed and thrive in school and in life.

My Project

My class needs a new laptop to connect our interactive white board in order to use our mandated math program with videos. This program will help me to teach the students computational skills as well as problem solving strategies.

In addition, my students will be using Everfi, an online platform with a learning module on financial literacy.

In order for my students to get the most out of this, they are going to need to see on the board the different animations related to financial literacy skills, including debit, credit, saving, and taxes.
