My administration has asked me to apply my own early childhood knowledge of sewing to various third, fourth and fifth grade students. Sewing is a fun and creative endeavor to take on, especially with kids. Children of any age can learn some form of sewing that can lead them on a path to eventually create their own complex projects and clothing. For this I will need sewing starter kits, a tape measure and a lot of extra thread. I will be meeting with this club once a week from February to June and I know we will be going through tons of materials as we learn the basics of sewing.
