My Students

My students are eager little learners who enter the classroom willing and ready for the challenges that await them.

It is amazing to see the once thought unthinkable achieved by students so young.

Even though we are a small school, we have a diverse population with a wide variety of backgrounds. My students don't realize that what they are learning and achieving today was once thought impossible for students their age. They eagerly accept the new challenges presented to them and prove that with high expectations any goal can be achieved. Students in my classroom are encouraged to be problem solvers by trying new things, asking questions, and most importantly, find creative ways to share their knowledge.

My Project

My students, like all students, just love to use technology in the classroom to help them learn.

One of the nice things about technology is that it helps differentiate so students can be learning at their own pace.

The problem is that without headphones they can be easily distracted by their neighbor. Some of my 2nd graders have not developed the fine motor skills needed to use the mouse pad on their Chromebook.

As we all know water and technology do not mix. With water bottle holders that can be attached to their desk that is one less concern for both me the teacher and them while they are using their Chromebooks.
