My Project

The incorporation of a sensory table into the Early Childhood classroom is essential. Through tactile experiences, children engage their senses – touching, tasting, smelling, seeing, moving, and hearing – to comprehend the world around them. This form of sensory play is not merely recreational; it plays a pivotal role in brain development.

Engaging children in sensory play early on helps prepare them for the challenges they will encounter in the future.

This type of play fosters learning through exploration, curiosity, problem-solving, and creativity.

The requested items for the sensory table will help to facilitate multiple experiences aimed at encouraging imagination, exploration, and investigation. I intend to use these tools and various fillers to construct new and enriching experiences that promote learning.
