My Project

I’m a first-grade teacher at a Title I school, where many of our students face economic challenges—but they come to school each day ready to learn, grow, and shine.

Our classroom prize box is a simple yet powerful way to celebrate positive behavior, kindness, responsibility, and academic effort.

Small rewards like stickers, pencils, fidget toys, and other fun trinkets help motivate students and build confidence. For many of our children, these small items are special treats they may not otherwise receive.
