Help me give my students snacks to keep hunger at bay! Snacks are good for kids because they help them stay focused at school and on homework, giving them needed nutrients to grow and develop.

My Project

Many of my students come to school without breakfast, or even dinner the night before. It is hard for students to focus on their academics when their stomach's are rumbling. Children need a steady supply of nutrients to fuel their bodies and brains so that they grow and develop properly.

Providing snacks to my students can help fill their tummies, so that I can fill their minds!

Snacks are good for kids because they help them stay focused at school and on homework, give them needed nutrients and keep hunger at bay.

Children who snack on healthy foods perform better in school, according to a study published in the journal Medicine in 2016. Healthy snacking contributes to a child’s emotional and physical well-being.
