Filament to Fill Their Minds!

Help me give my students filament to use in their 3D printer, in order to build items through the PolarCloud.

My Students

Sixty percent of our student population consists of students in foster care. These students have been through abuse, neglect, and/or abandonment and come to us behind the norm. We have to not only give them a safe place but also push them through the uneasiness of school. We are a public charter and the other forty percent of our students come to us as a school of choice. All of our kids are so amazing and I want to provide them with the very best classroom in the school.

My Project

My students have just begun their journey into the 3D printing world and having this filament will inspire them to complete projects. My students are in the foster care system and many of them have never been a part of a 3D printer build.

Hands-on instruction is pivotal when teaching students that do not have a strong positive relationship with education.

I believe these products will help us build upon our curriculum and open up the minds of students that have closed themselves off to education. There are so many amazing projects that these students can become a part of with the right supplies.
