Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are funny, smart and they love to read. They love school and want to become independent readers now! They work hard and try harder. I love my students because they brighten my day with their happy little faces. They are ELL students, they get to learn so much from all of the amazing books they read. Even though they are ELL, it has not stopped them from picking up a book or stop them from reading the book.

My Project

Reading aloud to students will model correct reading fluency and show first graders how to read with expression.

The Chromebooks will be used to help my students practice their overall skills in a variety of subjects.

The students will use a program called Moby Max to help them get extra practice for any subject that they might need extra help in. The practice will be broken down to their level to help them grow and be successful.

The alternate seating will be used to create a reading corner so my students will be able to go to the corner and read and relax when they are finished completing their work. The Books will increase my students' love of reading and will build their fluency. Classroom libraries are essential to scholars each and every day.
