Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year has been filled with many uncertainties for my students. With the closure of schools, many students have lost connections with their friends and peers, and overall, a safe space to collaborate, grow and learn. Although the world around us may feel crazy, I want to provide my students with a classroom where they feel comfortable and stable whether they are learning from school or at home!

My students are hardworking, determined, and dedicated to learning.

They have the brightest and most inquisitive minds and I would love my classroom to have the resources they need to succeed. With these resources, I can provide a classroom that is welcoming and inclusive for my students.

Although I do not know what the future of my classroom will look like, I want to ensure I give my students a safe space to learn no matter where they are. With your help, you can help me provide the classroom my students deserve.

My Project

Coming from a school with little to no money to buy extra materials, these materials will help our classroom tremendously. The books will be used to help us learn how to manage our feelings and will be great for our diverse learners. They will also help our students realize that our feelings are normal and make us who we are! The standard based math and literacy centers will give us practice and help us be prepared for any future testing. Our students will get a huge use out of all of these materials!
