My Project

The students at my school have suffered enough because of the pandemic. Now it is time to bring them back into fun evening events at the school to enjoy time spent with parents and to build and enhance a love of reading.

Book Bingo is a wonderful night for students to win a book of their choice in a themed environment that promotes multiculturalism and the world around them.

The items I am requesting will help in developing the mood for the night of Fiesta when we celebrate another culture.

The events are built up in the weeks preceding the Book Bingo from the bulletin boards to the lessons of Mexican celebrations in the classroom. This helps the students understand theme and appreciate the décor of the evening, and it is a fabulous way to build momentum before the grand event. The hope is the students understand that there are different cultures that do things in different ways.
