My Project

My students are amazing! They are dreamers, go-getters, hard workers, and overcome so many obstacles in their life. These books would make a world of difference as I hope to teach them about animals they may have never heard of. Coming from the inner city and a low-income area many of my students don't get lots of experiences and often don't leave their own neighborhood. Therefore field trips are some of the only trips these scholars get to go on. I do this animal research project that ties with a field trip at the end of the year. These books the students would use to learn about their animal before they get to then go and see that animal up close in real life. Seeing their face light up when they find their animal and getting to tell me about it is a joy like none other!
