Our students have been using the new Care Closet resources in meaningful ways. The Care Closet provides students with access to everyday essentials they may need during the school day, helping them feel comfortable, cared for, and ready to learn. One special moment was seeing a student quietly choose items they needed and then return to class feeling more confident and prepared to participate.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, they were excited and curious. They were especially happy to learn that the Care Closet was a safe, welcoming space where they could get what they needed without feeling embarrassed or singled out. It has helped create a stronger sense of community and reminded students that their well-being matters.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue maintaining and organizing the Care Closet so that it remains stocked and accessible throughout the school year. We will also continue teaching students that it is okay to ask for help and that taking care of their basic needs is an important part of being ready to learn.
