Help me give my students the Field Day games they've missed out on for the past two years.

My Students

I'm the Physical Education teacher for an amazing group of K-4th graders at a Title I School in Haverhill, MA. Many of these incredible students come from low-income families. My students come into our gym ready to participate and engage in healthy activities five days a week. For many of my students, my class is the only opportunity they get to participate in any form of exercise during the week.

I want to give my students every possible chance to be exposed to healthy life-long activities that they might not have the chance to participate in.

My Project

For the past two years, my students have missed out on Field Day. It broke my heart when they would ask me "are we going to have Field Day this year?" and I had to tell them "no."

I want to give my students the Field Day they deserve!

They've missed out on so much, and it's time to give them back everything that's been taken from them.

My project will go to help the entire school for many years and Field Days to come. The equipment will not only be able to be used on Field Day, but also throughout the year during Physical Education.
