I am school counselor at my school and I service my whole school. A lot of students have a hard time with focusing and paying attention in class. Some of that has to do with them fidgeting a lot, having a hard time with emotions, or focusing. My job is to try and teach them the skills they need to focus and sometimes having a physical tool goes a long way to achieving their goal.
Fidget items are a great way to have something for students to use while trying to focus.
Whether it is because the student cannot stay still and needs something to do while paying attention or dealing with frustration because they are having a hard time, fidgets are a great way to help stay calm and focus.
