Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Hey friends! My students are fifth graders who love to learn in new and different ways! We have a lot to learn this year and my students are up for the challenge! They work hard and are striving to be the the best they can be! They have lots of personality and very big hearts!
The student population at our school includes 91% free and reduced lunch.
We have learners in every shape, color, and language at our school! I want to empower my students to see themselves as creators, dreamers, and future leaders!
My Project
My students love to move around while they are learning. Regular chairs do not allow that! Help me give my students the flexible seating they need to be awesome achievers!
These wobble cushions are a fun way for my students to keep their bodies busy while keeping their brains focused!
Allowing students to move can help improve their concentration on classwork and reading while they are able to keep their bodies active.
We need wobble cushions because we have a high number of students who struggle with focusing in our class this year who need alternative desk seating. These cushions are kid friendly and will add a nice pop of blue to the room! The bean bags are for an incentive! If a student has awesome behavior they can spend their daily silent reading time in the bean bag!
