Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are an excited bunch who are always eager to learn new things.
While they all come from very different backgrounds and home lives, they are all the same in their dedication to school and learning.
My school resides in a neighborhood where many of the families are immigrants, and speak languages other than English. Many of my students enter school speaking little to no English, but are excited to learn the language. Their different cultures help to make my classroom a diverse learning space for all.
My Project
My students need to experience the wonderful things that have been accomplished by others. By providing them with well written, meaningful biographies, my students will explore this genre.
The Cricut Machine will allow my students an organized, functional and well-planned work environment.
The items that the Cricut can make will provide my students with a work space that can help them be as successful as possible.
The fidget toys will help my students stay focused during whole group and small group lessons. By allowing them an appropriate outlet, students will be receptive to new information, while still being stimulated in a way that they need.
