My Project

Students are reporting feeling stressed , anxious and overwhelmed throughout the day while in school. As counselors, we meet with our students to help identify different coping skills and triggers that impact them daily both at school and at home. Many of our students use fidgets to help them manage their stress and anxiety. Students fidget because it helps them stay calm and self-regulate. Fidgeting helps students stay focused and remain engaged in the classroom. Most common causes of fidgeting include attention problems, hyperactivity, anxiety and stress. Not all students come to school with fidgets and this project would afford all students to have their own personal fidget.
